I was driving last night and made a u-turn. Suddenly my car started making a funny noise coming from the front passenger side. I stop and checked the engine and everything seemed fine. Only happens when I accelerated the car...like a flat tire or a belt that that is not dressed right. It got noiser for a while but then I was like..heck let me speed up a little more if it break...let it break...then the sound all went away. What could be the noise? Something stuck in the tire or something is kissing the suspension? Thanks.

mine made that sound too, it sounded like a bad serpentine belt. i took it to the dealer and had them check it out. they said they couldnt duplicate the problem but they said they lubed up my belts. u cant lube belts. ha! try taking it in.

...my suspicion is that the sound was coming from your tire...you get a build up of grime in the crease where the bead area of your tire and rim are...when you do something like making a tight U turn it actually slightly pulls on the sidewall of the tire allowing a bit of the grime to get in the small crevasse area, this will make your tire hiss a bit, this tidbit of info comes from a friend of mine who works at a local tire shop...
