I forgot to tell you that he FINALLY got around to changing my ambient light for me!! It's been pretty hectic! This was done not long after the new year started. I really like it! :yes: It's purdy!! Plus matches my car better. :D

Could you please send out a DIY? Was it really hard. I kinda like my Orange light....but I think I want the blue or the white LED.

Princess, nice light! :D

I actually like the subtle amber light more... It's easier on the eyes at night on those long lonely drives.... :) Someone wrote up a DIY somewhere on here. The hardest part of the install is taking the overhead console out.

He kinda cheated..... he had a bulb holder thing from another car....so he bought just the tiny bulb & replaced it. Having the Homelink made it a bit more nerve wracking in the respect of not wanting to mess with wires unintentionally. :paranoid:

It's really not much brighter. It makes a blue glow at the cup holders which will be great for night driving!! :yes: The amber one hardly lit up the lower area at all.... remember we have OLD eyes!!! :lmao: We need more light!! :D

He was only out there a few minutes, but I couldn't be there 'cuz I had kids to chase. Afterward I did go out for a few minutes to check it out & snap a couple of pictures.

It only took him, what, a year to finally put it in.....? He kept forgetting when he had the time. It's done now & I'm very happy!!

Very nice!! I like that, a friend of mine did that with the trunk light....I think it looks very cool, but am pretty lazy about that stuff....
