I noticed two problems today and was wondering if anyone else noticed anything similar:

1) After washing the car, I noticed a very small amount of suds at the bottom of one of my taillights. It dried up by the time I got to the dealer, though so I'm going to take pictures next time I wash the car if it happens again.

2) It looked like rust was on one of my exhaust tips towards the inner part and the dealer said it was a scratch but they are going to replace it under warranty anyway.

My headlight had some condensation inside of which I noticed two days after bringing my car home. I took it in and they replaced the headlight on my word that it was leaky. When you talk to them, I'd not voluenterr (sp?) that you were washing your car when it got water in it, they may attempt to feed you a line of "high pressure water blah...blah...blah..." when in fact the housing -should- be sealed against such.

My exhaust tip looks the same as yours, looks like it might be decent outside, so I'm gonna hit it with a damp cloth and see if it's rust or grime, I'll post here when I find out which.

I appreciate that. The dealer didn't want to take my word with the taillights...he didn't try and say it was pressure washing or anything like that but they said they want to see it and take pictures of it or see pictures of my own so long as they are digital.

Sounds like it's time to hit the carwash :)
