4 Door OEM Wing SpoilerWheelie 03-03-2006, 05:23 PM I just installed my oem wing spoiler, do I lose the brake light in the rear window, or is there another plug for the spoiler light, I would like to keep the brake light in the window and have the spoiler light??? Cant find another connection. Thanks for answering. wee andysinnh 03-03-2006, 06:59 PM With the OEM spoiler, you remove the plug from the back deck light and plug it into the harness for the wing spoiler's light. If you want to keep both lights, then you'd need to use a couple of those 3M crimp splicing connectors and tap the wires from the spoiler light into the harness for the rear deck light, and keep the harness plugged into that existing light. That should allow both lights to work at the same time. Personally, I'd just use the rear spoiler light - it's brighter and longer LED bulbs that are much more visible than the bulb-based light on the rear shelf.... andy | |
