Well I blinked and we past 2000 member over a month ago. BenjiBoy650 mentioned it in another thread and I tried to split it out, but alas it entered the Twilight Zone never to be seen again. Bottom line this place is jumpin.

We're slightly under twice the size of Honduh and they've been around much longer and they concentrate on 6th gens, of which there are more on the road with more miles thus more problems...so I'd say we're not doing bad yeah?

Somehow, I just didn't feel like the dark side was my destiny. :D
The force is with me and the force is white.

I think the last time I rode in a black vehicle was a funeral car. :lmao:

Black is classic (can you say "Model-T").
White is futuristic (what I'd give to drive the Space Shuttle  )

dude, everyone in the "know" knows that the f-14, used by the navy, by the way, was the all-time best fighter het out there..... and still is too.....

it's a shame that they are retiring it tho... :bawling:

Amazing how many joined but have zero posts?!

stevencrosbie

Yeah...boggles my mind. This is by far the best forum I've ever seen. I've visited the AZ forums for my TL, but they don't have the same "family" feel that this forum does...

So...that means I will continue to stick around....maybe we can gain some TL members :naughty:

BenjiBoy650

You get enough members and inevitably the forum will lose all feel :dunno:

We should still have the core here that has produced the feeling.... it's hung in there pretty well so far!!

I know the main bunch over at ROC have a family feel....but so far, I'm not getting it... :dunno: They do get together more though! There's a little "meet" up on Mt. Diablo on the 27th. I wish we could go. I don't think so since it's a Sat.

I think many times the zero posts are ones that thought they needed to register to read.... we always have lots of guests here too! :D

stevencrosbie
05-12-2006, 10:16 AM
Yeah...unfortunatly...our small size makes it hard to do meets....as I don't think there are many members from Colorado...

Now...if I was back in Texas...there'd be a different story :naughty:

princess

ROC is about the same size.... I think the main difference is there's several retired folks there that have nothing better to do or something... :lmao: There's only going to be 8 or 9 on Mt. Diablo. The one doing it is in town for his brother's Bday. He lives in the boonies & wanted to meet some of the other owners. I love the idea, but Eeyore is at work on Saturdays & I'm not going alone!

Out of those 2,000+ members, there are only about 20 of us that post regularly (and I've been slipping recently) Sites such as Honda-Acura.net are geared more towards the import tuner-crowd and there is just not much going on with some of the others. I find that this forum is just right.
