Is there a guide here as to what forum to put a thread/post in? Asking because I had been looking for the poll thread on classified ads and couldn't find it until I was told it was in another forum instead of the Poll forum, and then yesterday I searched the Maintenance & Detailing forum for any updates posted on the stocking of Mobil 1 0W20 and didn't find any..so posted about what I found at Wally World, and then found a thread on it today in the Pit area. Its my fault not seeing it before as I could have searched the whole site...but I'm sure glad I do my own filing at home. Some forum sites actually move threads to where they belong. Okay, I'm off my stand now, go ahead and whip me.

Sometimes it actually gets all cleaned up & the stuff gets put in the right spots!!
Just because others can't figure it out sometimes (I'm confused as to why the oil stuff is in the pit too) I'm sure you can figure out where to put threads you start!! It's pretty easy!! :D

if for some reason you pit the thread in the wrong spot, i'm sure that the mods would have no problem moving it.... just try to keep it to minimum, and ask if you have any question about it... :)

I don't move stuff because I don't see it most of the time. I just use the "view new posts" button. Actually most of the time I don't even look at the oil posts since I don't use synthetic. And this is the exact reason why I put the classified ads rule posting in the Pit and not the Polls section - so people would see it. But I guess everyone wants to go by the letter of the law and put it in polls just because it's a poll :dunno:
