Princess I will keep this thread up until we determine the problem. When it's fixed I will delete this thread.

Have you tried clearing your cache?

I've tried everything!! I didn't even know it was happening until Inspector1 told me that the last load I put in wasn't working. I took them all back out & have been trying to get it to work since. Your test one says the "file is damaged" when I open it. Maybe tonight the prince will reload the reader & maybe that will do it. ( I'm not the one that knows anything about computers... I just use the thing.) We've tried everything else we can think of! If it's easy enough maybe he can walk me through it at his lunch break. (?) It feels like it's missing something. He laughs at me because I won't learn the terminology, but somehow usually figure stuff out. He added a new Pinnacle program for the camera editing stuff & there could be a conflict there that reloading the Acrobat will cure. We've never had this happen before & I'm trying to think of anything that's different in the past week. The only 2 things are a firewall, which he removed & this Pinnacle thing. Since it wouldn't open what you put in, I'm leaning towards a problem with it's reading the Acrobat.

Is anyone else having the problem?? If someone else opens the "test" one that you put in & it won't read it.... let me know! Please!

Have have a bunch more that I want to post! I'd planned on loading in any BS & some OEM instructions for as far back as I can get. Hoping to boost the interest in the site!

Princess,
Test load spools thru Areader but all I get is a blank screen.
With the ones you posted it wouldn't even spool Areader????
I looked at the one that was still on forum thinking possible version conflict w/ Areader but all looks ok.... weird???

I reuploaded the file and got it to open in Adobe but I get a pop-up that says "to many operands" what ever that is. I'll have to look into this some more. so, Princess you are not loosing it. You are very on top of it.

This all started the same day you started the thread about whether or not this site was worth keeping. I think it (the site) is sad at the mere thought of going away & is going to force some attention!!:D

I'm going to try to post a picture to see if that's also effected. The more info, the easy to pinpoint the problem, right?

princess

It won't let me put a picture on either! It told me that it wasn't a GIF or JPG & it is! Maybe this will help find out where the glitch is.

Works for me, but this was just a file that I saved from a working file off this site. Some files that didn't work before still don't work.

I can't help anyone if I can't get these posted! It's actually more work fo rme to email the requests!

It may wait until Monday, I have a busy weekend coming & remember our weekend starts on Friday.

Bitzer has a vet appt....we need to do some stucco-ing around the new slider in the family room....then paint that outside wall & the adj. one.....put up & paint new gutters to get ready for an upcoming motorized awning.....Sat. I'll have the youngest grandson while his parents & brothers go to Tball....

About the only time I sit is when I'm at the computer! I walked 10 miles yesterday & never left home! (I decided to wear a pedometer)

We understand princess! Thanks for your willingness to help.

Do you see Service Manual updates on that website as well? I'm looking at the GM dealer website & it has a section for just service manual corrections. Anything like that on the Honda site for the Helms manual? I would hate to be working on something via the manual & the manual be wrong! You know what I mean?

princess

I never noticed manual updates. They usually release one when they release a new generation, then make corrections with the volume. Like 1998-2002 Accord Vol. 1.4....that type of thing. But if I see anything on their site, I'll pass it on.

Since it's been quite a while since I've been able to post the bulletins I have to go through this site & make a list as to whats here....then go through the Honda info & do whats missing. I don't want to start over & do a bunch of duplicating. When I put as much as I have on the newer ones, I'll be working backwards to include as many generations as I can.

Ward will be busy! He does the organization of it all. I hope to make it easier on him by having the year, model, either instruction title or bulletin # on the thread title.

So Monday should be the beginning of much more info! As long as the network will connect & our online service is working. (I say that because comcast has had some changes in the past week or so that's been driving us crazy!)

THANK YOU WARD FOR FIXING THE SITE!!!!!!!!
