Hey guys... (and you too, Princess! ;) )
Just checking in during our mini winter vacation.

1st leg was from South FL to Montgomery, AL.
Next stop will be Huntsville, AL, continuing on through TN and KY up to OH (Dayton).

Finally, coming back home we will break it up and stop halfway between OH and South FL... probably here (http://www.starwood.com/westin/search/hotel_detail.html?city=atlanta&stateProvince=GA&country=US&postalCode=&streetAddress1=&hotelLocationType=&pOI=&arrivalDate=&departureDate=&lengthOfStay=&numberOfRooms=&numberOfAdults=&amenityType1=&amenityType2=&amenityType3=&nState1=&nState2=&nCity1=&nCity2=&requestedChainCode=WI&requestedAffiliationCode=WI&arrivalDateMonth=&arrivalDateDay=&arrivalDateYear=&departureDateMonth=&departureDateDay=&departureDateYear=&hcount=0&ratePlanName=&sortType=distance&rpoi=&propertyID=1023&rcdi=&linkbrand=&fromSearch=22XX&availURL=%2Fwestin%2Fsearch%2Fpre_decider_all.html ) in Atlanta.

All of our stops are to see family and/or friends.

The Accord's heated seats are oh so nice in the cold weather!
Never had a chance to use them where we live!

Happy Holidays!

I'm jealous! You get a road trip!!!

Hey we usually stay at Sheraton owned places too. When we head to FL this Summer we'll be at Vistana Villages. In DC it may be Grand Westin... that reservation isn't made yet.

Have fun on your trip! Are you going to be gone over Xmas, or back home by then? With all the places you listed, probably still gone.

Stay safe & keep enjoying those heated seats!!

Made it to OH....

Just before we reached our destination, the highway began to ice over. "Black ice" they call it up here. Anyway, my first indication that something was wrong was when I saw about 10 cars in front of me slide off into the median and the side of the road. I had already slowed to about 40, and I gently applied to break to slow down even more. I could feel the car starting to skid, but it quickly recovered all on its own. Guess that was the traction control system, but I told the wife it was my superior driving skills! :D

Anyway, long story short, we continued on through that mess, passing all the spun-out cars and trucks and made it in safely. I was really impressed with how the car handled.

Whew! Glad your skills & the car handled that nasty ice! Hope you're having a great time!
