New Mobile Application for DriveAccord!


Hi everyone,

We have completed the testing of our mobile application, and it is now available for purchase in the iTunes store.

When searching for the app, you have look up "AutoGuide". Once you have found and downloaded it, you will be able to go through our list of sites and choose this one.

Tapatalk compatibility for this forum would have solved the issue for Android and iOS ... tis nice to see a mobile app in some form, but Tapatalk puts AutoGuide's app (at least on the various iDevices) to shame.

I'm not bias, I just happen to develop for both platforms @ work (health care s/w) & roll with both. Android is catching up, but still about a 6-8 months behind the iOS devel team imho. Heck, we provide tapatalk compat with a private vB forum for less than 800 users.

still deciding if the $2.99 is worth it...i mean i can just use Safari and surf the DA forum...

*Update* been using it for about an hour now it's pretty similar to tapatalk I wish DA.net would use tapatalk software but I'm on here more then any other forum (example) v6p.net. Can't have everything perfect

Nothing for Nokia users? I cant find the app in the Ovi Store.

It is a very handy application. When you are multiple forums you have them all there in the same location....

Thank you but not everyone has an iPhone. Tapatalk would have been so much better and widely supported. Other forums that should remain, ahem, cough V6P cough, nameless, have supported Tapatalk for quite some time. I do not see why we cannot have both since Tapatalk is supposedly pretty simple to incorporate.

Honestly if you would like more activity on your site, Tapatalk would be the answer. Unless you have some sort of exclusivity with Apple, UGH.... :barf:

The first time I opened DA in safari on my iPhone a message came up saying that there was an app. I clicked on it and it took me to the app store, specifically Tapatalk. Apparently DA is not on there though. Rock on.

I like the autoguide app. I just wish there was an option to set a default forum. At least hide the 400 you have to scroll through just to get to DA.

I like a separate, yet nearly identical, app for this forum. I open tapatalk for a forum specific to my generation of cars, and the autoguide app for this forum. I don't have to bother with finding the forums in a huge list.
