Not wanting to spend the money for new wheels right now, I am going to the Firestone store Thursday, where I am a Platinum Preferred customer(WHOOPIE :dude: ) to get some Bridgestone G009's. I am probally going to get size 225/60-15. The diameter is nearly identical to the stock s8's, only .1" difference. Benefits of increasing size is less less sidewall flex. and a really nice 7.8" tread width. I am hoping that the ride stiffens only slightly and that the x-tra width doesn't create clearance problems. Any thoughts appreciated.

Sounds ok, but you might stay on the lookout for take-off wheels/tires. I scored a complete set of '05 EX wheels/tires like-new here on driveaccord.net for around $400, which is what you'll probably be paying after mounting/balancing and tax.
