I would hope that Dodge wouldn't capitalize on such an accident. Surprised nobody robbed the truck haha.

From picture it looks like a medium duty IH conversion......
Those are a little top heavy.... Plus the armored truck driver may have panicked and cut the wheels on impact..... Just some more SUV bashing media people trying to scare the public on HOW DANGEROUS those SUV's are.... toooo much!!!!!!

IMO SUV's suck but certainly I don't think people should be stopped from buying them. They should just remember that if they flip it's their problem. And actually it looks like the minivan is kinda coming back, see the new Odyssey that's coming out, the new Sienna, Quest, the 2 updated Ford offerings, and the new GM SUV-cum-minivan crosses (Buick and Saturn).

Volvo has made a attempt at curing the Flipping problem w/Xc90
I think that system will eventually show up on Fords after the technology development price is recoupped.....
IMO the whole problem is lack of training for drivers... The US is definitely lacking in that compared to Europe...
I find it Sad that a country that wants to control your use of guns(deadly weapon) ... Turns people loose in 2+tons of rolling steel(Deadly weapon) on a daily basis with limited training?????

Well don't take this as disrespect or anything but IMO all those traction/stability/roll control devices only go so far. A Corvette engineer said it best "it [Corvette's Active Handling System] can't find traction that's not there." The roll system in the Volvo looks like just another stability control system with a new name. Do what it might, if a driver decides to try and suddenly turn the wheels sharply at 80MPH in a rain storm, my bet is on it's gunna flip :D You know what I'm trying to get at here?
