Have an 06 EX-L Coupe, silver and beauuuuutifullll!!

Want to keep it that way. Have had the car for about a month and have washed it twice and vacuumed the inside. I live in South Florida so the weather helps to keep her clean on the outside.

I want to tackle the inside now with a nice thorough cleaning. I'd also like to condition the leather.

So my question is what products do you prefer for cleaning the console area, dash and interior doors?

And what's the best leather conditioner for her?

I just wipe my dash and stuff with a damp cloth because generally my interior doesnt get dirty at all, just dusty. For leather, I use Lexol Leather Cleaner and Lexol Leather Conditioner.

How often do you apply the leather cleaner and conditioner?

This is the first car I have owned with Leather interior.

I've had good luck with Armor All Leather Wipes. It may look a little uneven at first, but give it a day or two.

My wife swears by a damp cloth with dove dish soap.

I don't have leather interior, but have always taken good care of the dash. Son of a Gun leather/vinyl protectant from STP. I've been using for the last 7 years on 3 different cars, one of them 11 years old. Still looked new, harsh weather and dust, and no cracks, no fading whatsoever.

Oh for the carpet don't use a 12V handheld use a real vacuum, you'll be amazed at what those small things leave behind. To refresh the carpet (once every few years) Bissel foaming carpet cleaner. Just apply, leave till dry, and vacuum away. Smells great and makes it look like new. (I wouldn't recommend using in really hot weather and make sure the car doors remain open while it dries).

I'm going to have to agree with OrangesOfCourse on this one.

Lexol makes a phenominal leather care product. Buy the cleaner and the conditioner.

I'm also a big fan of the Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer.

I use Leatherique. I heard about it here in this forum so I decided to try it. I am really pleased with my purchase. The more you use it the softer the leather feels. I've used it twice now, but as far as softer goes that remains to be seen (felt). Step (1) Vacuum, paying particular attention to the seams. Step (2) Oil the leather with Leatherique and rub into the leather and let it sit for as long as possible. Keeping all windows rolled up creating an oven. This will open up the pores of the leather allowing the oil to go into the leather which forces out the tire (mainly the sweat). Step (3) Use Pristine Clean to wipe away any excess oil and sweat. You are done. My uncle used some on an old saddle and he was impressed with just one quick application.
