Im now on the hunt for some aftermarket 17 inch tires and wheels for my car. I think it will give it a little more aggressive of a stance, and handle just a little better.
Anybody else done this yet?

We ordered the factory 17's for our coupe. Honda has two styles. one that comes on the 6 speeds and another style that has round cutouts instead of the straight spokes. We have the later and it looks great. Plenty of aftermarket choices but something about going with Original factory equip, have the spoiler and side body moulding.

Those 5-spoke wheels on your AV6EX are used on the S2000 Modulo in Japan I believe, wonder why Honda decided to market them for the Accord. Be interesting to see if anyone wants to put an S2000 wheel on the Accord? :)

Can anyone tell me if the picture in this thread with the 5-spoke wheels is showing 16" or 17" wheels?

Also, can you simply bolt on 16" wheels to an LX to replace with the EX wheels, or is it more complicated than that? Does it affect the speedo accuracy or anything like that? How about handling, ride or performance - any effect there?

Thanks for any input...

Thanks; I think you're right. Looks like they have 2 5-spoke wheels for the Accord: 1 - 17" in dark grey, 1 - 16" in chrome/silver.

Any input on the wheel size or EX/LX wheel swap questions?

I4=I4=4lug.........V6=V6=5lug ** trim level won't matter ** On older gen's --- 7th gen are all 5 I believe.... Someone with a 7th Gen please correct me if I am wrong

Resize issue= As long as outside rolling diameter(overall dia.)or revs per mile are close you will be fine.....

See this link...

I just used the Dunlop as an example....
I would not recommend this tire.... 215/60/16 on my van 24k worn to 5/32 ....... Boooo!!!! :censored:
