Ok so.... im sick of my michelin mxm4's. they do not stick to the road at all and i can burn out though 1st gear untill redline, their just really slick even to the touch. I don't know much about tires, i talked to the people at tirerack.com and they said Yokohama AVS ES100 would be the best tire for my car with max. performance. Im looking for a tire that will stick to the ground and NOT spin freely though out 1st gear and around heavy connoring.

Is that a good tire for performance?? I don't really care about ride quailty, noise or any of that...im 16 my back is in fine shape!! and my exhaust and CAI will just cover up the tire noise.

How much longer should my tires now last(Michelin MxM4's) i have 15,000 miles on them. They still have a some good tread left on them

Any imput is welcome! thanks

if u want all-season go with the ls-v's (check the thread in this forum).

otherwise i would recommend goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3. i have them myself and im very impressed with traction and handling. they're max performance summer so no snow driving. not heavy and have good tread life. noise and ride are fair (not the best but again, performance comes first!).

i do have them at 225/50ZR17 tho.

ur call!

Also check out the Bridgestone RE950s and the G009s. I went with the LSVs (which I am still totally psyched about  ) size 215/50R17s, because I thought the 950s and G009s would have a little too much stick for my 2.4L other wise I would have gone with one of the other two. After a ton of research, I narrowed my search for tires down to the above three. Couldn't be happier with the LSVs.

just get a wider tire. 225/235 vs 215.
