Absolutely pathetic -- not to mention the kind of abuse they're putting their cars through.
samsonskeg 04-26-2006, 07:54 AM wow. Thats just sad
JRC2010 04-26-2006, 08:18 AM Man, I hope that I never become that desperate to expect other people to give me gas like that. My fuel pump would kill me.
04EXNavi 04-26-2006, 08:26 AM You have to wonder about these people...what is their time worth to themselves, to spend probably an hour waiting around for a free $3-$4 in gas? :dunno:
ericrwalker 04-26-2006, 09:26 AM I was thinking the same thing. I would hate being stranded waiting for someone to give me gallon of gas. What's wrong with these people? :dunno:

mwmcginn 04-26-2006, 09:38 AM I was thinking about taking full advantage of my aaa membership this way, but they take too long.
04EXNavi 04-26-2006, 09:47 AM These are probably the same people who wait in the cold for 8 hours on the day after Thanksgiving to buy a crappy $9 toaster.
Wait, I just described my mom!
jermy4 04-26-2006, 10:27 AM Makes you wonder if some of these people just pull over on the side of the road hoping for free gas even if they still have some.
Accord9404 04-26-2006, 10:28 AM If it's the E85 he's probably drinking it.....
ericrwalker 04-26-2006, 10:28 AM I am surprised people are trying to cut their gas 50/50 with water :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
04EXNavi 04-26-2006, 10:32 AM This sounds like a scheme that Kramer and Newman would think up.

Exactly

Ah, Seinfeld. It's going to be a sad day when I have kids that grow up to tell me how old I am when I watch Seinfeld.
ericrwalker 04-26-2006, 05:57 PM Like I've mentioned before I have the first 6 seasons on DVD and I am waiting for the last 3 seasons to be released. Everytime there is nothing on TV I pop Seinfeld in. I think I can quote most of the first 6 seasons now :lmao:

Conundrum 04-26-2006, 08:01 PM Its pathetic really...I mean, these people offer a service to those who do get stranded for legit reasons...and all these people are probably going to kill that because they are too cheap to get their own gas and let themselves run out on purpose...
just my 2 cents.
04EXNavi 04-27-2006, 09:54 AM When I was your age, we didn't have Seinfeld reruns...we had to wait a whole week for a new episode! And before that we didn't even have Seinfeld....all we had was Cheers and Night Court! Kids these days...stay off the grass!
ericrwalker 04-27-2006, 10:32 AM How old are you? I watched Seinfeld every week, when it was on....during the later seasons.

04EXNavi 04-27-2006, 11:18 AM I'm 36...I never caught it when it was broadcast in the early years either, but I blame turning 21 for that. :D
ericrwalker 04-27-2006, 11:21 AM Well I was 9 years old during the first season....not like I missed much though it was only 5 episodes. I started watching it when I was about 15 I think.
I thought most people stopped drinking when they turn 21 :dunno:

04EXNavi 04-27-2006, 11:27 AM  I just learned self control at 21, like not getting it on my shoes later in the evening.
