Good morning...I am trying to find a replacement for my passenger side trunk lid light or inner taillight. I have a 2005 Accord EX 4dr sedan. I can only seem to find 2003 or 2004 listings for this part. Does anyone know if the 2003 taillights/trunk lid lights also fit the 2005? I don't think the body stle has changed so they should, but I want to be sure before purchasing. Thanks for your help.

they should fit, but the colors are different. You are really going to need a 05 light, or an entire set of 03/04

The 2005 Accord has all red lenses. The 2003 & 4 models have the same shape, but the turn signal and reverse lights are clear.

Accords are popular and chances are you might find one in a junk, er, excuse me, "auto recycling yard." (Them rednecks get touchy about that :D )

The 2003/2004 lights do not fit on the inner trunk lid of the 05 without some modifications.

Anyone know how to remove/replace these? I was in a wreck, it's been over year since, but now when I use a carwash water leaks past the lights into the trunk. I need to take them off and silicone away? Is there a rubber gasket the assholes forgot to install?
