Just wanted to share an excellent dealership encounter I had today. I tried Huey's Honda in St. Louis for my service for the first time. I had an oil change and transmission fluid change. I also needed a sunroof rattle fixed. I went there to make an appointment only to have them tell me that they could take care of me immediately in their Express Service area. The two other Honda dealerships I've dealt with (Meyer Honda in O'Fallon, IL and Ike Honda in Carbondale, IL) always required an appointment, and it usually took at least a week to get one, even for these basic services. Both of those dealerships have tried, unsuccessfully, to fix this particular rattle.

Huey's Honda serviced my car quickly and skillfully. They even cleaned the top of the engine, which had some oil residue on it from previous oil changes. The wiper fluid reservoir was full when I left, and they actually DID adjust the tire pressures! The bill was fair, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need (like the 30,000 mile service, etc. etc.), and they fixed the sunroof rattle (!).

I didn't know where else to post this, but if you're in the St. Louis area, I'd highly recommend Huey's. It was probably the best overall dealership experience I've ever had.

Ed,

What did they charge for your auto trans fluid change.. Was it the 3 quart drain and fill or a full flush.

Just wanted to say that I gave them a try last week and had a great experience. Every dealer should be doing this. They did make fun of my licence plate though. IMPAWD, which came off the AWD impreza.
