Hey. I called Honda yesterday, and asked them if I could get just the Honda Factory Performance suspension installed. They said Honda will not sell the kit separate from the other HFP stuff. (side skirts, wheels, badges) and the whole HFP package is $4900. So, I went to Tire Rack, and am ordering the Eibach Pro progressive lowering springs, and a 17 inch wheel?tire package. It will drop the car 1.2 inches f/r and with the 17s, I think it will really fill up the wheel well, and look really good. It will also dramatically improve the cars handling chracteristics.

I have a feeling you're going to regret this....very much. 17 = too small. Lowering springs with aftermarket dampers = blown struts. 1.2 lowering = alignment problems, not to mention the mandatory scraping.

Honda has informed me that a 1.2 inch drop will not cause excessive wear on the stock shocks, nor will it be a problem to realign with factory alignment hardware. the 1.9-2.5 drops are what causes those problems. Also, why is 17 too small? It has 16s now, and the 17 will be a nicer look and not get too harsh on the bumps. Im confident this will be a subtle, yet pleasant upgrade... To each his own. Thanks for your opinion.

What wheels and tires are you going with? Got any pics or a link? Pics of the finished product would be nice when you get everything installed...
if you are thinking of going with 17 inch rims i suggest going with the honda factory performance package rims... they are the 5 spoke gunmetal ones... they can be found on www.handa-accessories.com
