whats going on peoples i have a question does anyone know where i can find a site with some info on doing a transmission swap from automatic to manual. and how much do you guys think it will cost in total????

10-12 hours labor by a pro & the cost of the tranny. Depends on new, used, rebuilt. And year, model.
Buy a manual. There's a few threads here that mention the place to order them from.

Why not just sell it and actually buy a car with a stick shift already in it. It makes a lot more sense to me. If you have accessories or anything you could take it off...except for maybe if you had an H22 swap in it.

That link isn't working for me and I'd be really interested in more info on swapping an auto tranny for a manual one in my V6 LX coupe.

im thinkin about doin the same thing but the wirring is gonna be a bitch.....the 6th gen wirring is a bitch ....easiest part is puttin the tranny in and everything....but that wirring your gonna hate it ......go to v6p.net and go to the 4bangers forum they have a couple threads on it and details on all the steps to get it done
