Here are pic's of my new Carbon Bronze Pearl 06 Accord I4 AT EXL W Navi. I picked it up last weekend. Just finished giving it a nice washing at the house.

I have put on mud guards, 3M ClearBra, Door edge Moldings, Fenderwell Moldings, Wheel locks, OEM trunk tray.

Next mods that I would like to do include: Trunk Lid Spoiler, Trunk Lid Garnish,
Homelink upgrade, maybe some aftermarket 6X9 speakers for the rear deck.

Thinking about a moonroof visor, they really help with noise, but not sure I want to on this car.

Wow I didn't realize there's a trunk lid garnish for the 06's! Nice car, looks like the Carbon Bronze is mighty popular

What's a trunk lid garnish?

Congrats!! Looks like mine! I love this color...so exclusive to the EX models only. Heh...it's the only reason why I picked this color. My next color choice was Silver.

The trunk lid garnish is honda's name for the Liner that is on the EXV6 trunk lid. It gives the trunk a nice finished look. I put one on my 04, its a five minute install and costs about 70 bucks (local dealer cost) for the liner and the required clips to hold it in place.

It didn't do anything as far as road noise, but when you open the trunk there is a more upscale look to the inside of your trunk. There is an earlier post regarding this topic:

I don't understand why honda doesn't put it on all the Accord models. College hills sells the liner for about 40 bucks plus the cost of the clips and shipping, so I figure it probably costs honda less than 25 to install at the factory.

Hey Otwer,

I want to get the homelink updgrade but dealer says it's an aftermarket add on and I'm not sure why it would be. If I did not have the NAV then they could do it. To my understanding, it is a plug & play item? :dunno:
Do you use your NAV much, I am still figuring out how to use it for the most part.
Nice color by the way. Bronze was my 1st choice but they did not have one.

it should be plug and play, just make sure you swap the navi mic over to the homelink module.

You can get HomeLink from Honda but it is also available as aftermarket - they come integrated onto autodim mirrors from Donnelly and other manufacturers. So your call on which approach to take.

I don't get it. In your sig, you say your 04 AT EX-L w/navi was a POS. Isn't your 06 I4 AT EX-L w/navi a POS too? Nice color but why not V6?
