Is there any program out there that will block pop-up messages from computer screens? I'm sick of getting messages about barely legal teens popping up when I'm not even online :mad:

I wouldn't even know what to do with a barely legal teen :confused:

For me, a barely legal teen for other purposes would be like a dog chasing a car.....if he caught it, he wouldn't know how to drive the damn thing :p

Pop-Up Stopper is another good one (panicware.com (http://www.panicware.com)).

But if you're getting pop-ups even when you're not online, you might have some spyware or adware program that's hijacked your web browser. Get something like Ad Aware (lavasoftusa.com (http://www.lavasoftusa.com)) and run that to rid yourself of these. You might be surprised at all the trojans and spyware items you may find, if you've never run this before.

I know this thread is old, but the new Google toolbar does a great job at blocking pop-ups.

Give it a try.
