Does anyone know how to add another anti-theft led light to the already existing on a 05 Accord Sedan EX I4 dash or disconnect the one on the dash and move it to a noticible spot, so it can be seen from the outside while walking by and how many volts is the LED light in the dash of the Accord now? Any info on how to do this mod would be greatly appreciated..... :dunno: .....
Thx.......

no offense but does it really matter?...all trims of Accords these days (and many other cars) come with an immobilizer and alarm system, so I'd think most potential theives would know that the car would be alarmed...also, if they wanted in bad enough, then they would just get in...alarm or no alarm. I still remember a number of years back when car alarms were not so common if one went off everyone would look...now typically if a car alarm goes off most people don't even bother to look...even if it is only parked a few rows away from them.
again this is just my person opinion...I'm sure a number of people feel otherwise (like yourself) to the same issue.
just my 2 cents...

Yup, I used to install a lot of alarms years ago when all they had were single tone sirens that were designed with standard components meaning I could actually change a resistor and capacitor and have my siren sound different then everyone elses. Now all the sirens utilize a single IC that contains the 6 different sounds which I think are really lame & annoying. Now everyone's alarm sounds the same and I think the general public finds it annoying rather then paying attention to see what car it's coming from or if someone actually is breaking in...

The alarm system in the Accord is pretty useless. The immobilizer is decent enough.
