From the photo it looks like a ground or power connector :dunno:

Permatex battery cleaner (http://www.permatex.com/products/automotive/cleaners1/aerosol_cleaners/Permatex_Battery_Cleaner_a.htm) should do the trick then spray with protectant.

Well then that would be the wrong product to use then. The 1st pic looked like a metal connector.

APC(all-purpose cleaner),Simple green reduced,Purple power etc and use a old toothbrush to scrub.

Is the pump not working?

ok... will give that a try tomorrow. :)

the pump is working just fine... its just that i cant stand looking at it... and i know i wont see it when my bumper is on... but i'll know its there... :paranoid:

the reason i'm doing this whole thing is because we had to take my friends side skirt off to install the new fender and there was a lot of crap in there... :thumbsdow so now i'm on a cleaning quest!

i had a few more questions but i forgot what they were... :lmao:

I'm going to put the "I'm not complete" Whammy on you.........crappy looking tires, crappy looking tires, crappy looking tires. Whammy is now complete.

Don't forget to roll the car back (or forward) to get the bottoms or the Whammy will pester you for the ENTIRE trip!

aha! just remembered one!

what would be the best way to clean the radiator? there are bugs and a bit of gravel in it. should i take a toothbrush and try to scrub them out? also the part where the bugs and rocks hit, the fins are bent... would there be a way to fix this?

There are combs you can buy that you can use to straighten the fins....they in most automotive stores.....

Taking off the bumpers to clean is pretty hard core! Good luck with that

And the answer is.......the link below.....

http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/ab_auto_cooling_system/article/0,2021,DIY_13676_2271301,00.html

Should you use a fin comb...........be very careful, slow, cautious.......those fins on radiators are REAL thin and yes, thats experience talking.....
