Do you use it often?

You know CA weather. I was using it in the rain today. I left the car parked while I was at school and the sun came out for a few hours, so the interior heated up. Then right as school ended it started pouring cold rain but the interior was still hot and I couldn't open windows :D
i prefer open windows most of the time. when the humidity gets oppressive or when the wife is with me, i'll use the a/c.

We use ours all year round. We just set the temp & ignore it.:)

I use my climate control w/AC off unless it's hot or windows start to fog in cold. If I let it run all the time it cost me about 1-2 mpg in fuel economy.. The sunroof is almost always open some for venting .... A lady on Highway was looking at me funny yesterday @ 7:30 AM on my way back from dropping off kids at school 20 deg out @ 75mph with sunroof all the way open..... She was so busy watching that she did not realize she had drifted halfway into my lane........ Maybe she was checking her makeup in the reflection of my fresh shine.......Hahaha.......

Don't worry, you're not psycho. I do that too albeit my temps are a bit milder :)

In the Deep South, this is considered survival equipment, not an accessory.

usually when i travel from pit to philly (i'm in the navy and stationed in philly), i'll have it on, unless it's cool enough, then i'll just turn the fan on and adjust the temp as necess. plus, i like the fall and spring, cause i don't have to use the a/c as much...u know those old accord a/c's rob the 4-banger of about 5-10 horses...at least it feels like it to me anyway... :boohoo:

Much more than 5-10!

mine's on constantly. it seems like if i don't need it for the temp, i need it to aid defogging!
since i picked up the accord, i haven't been using it in stop and go traffic yet though. for some reason it zaps my confidence-maybe it was the few times i peeled tired when i forgot that i had the ac on and i needed to compensate for that..... in rush hour traffic during the summer, this makes for one heck of a yucky commute though!

I can't keep the AC on constantly because it takes away about 2-3MPG plus it sucks A LOT of power. By turning on AC, I can immediately feel the engine straining, seems like the VTEC shiftover at 2500RPM went out the window and I was carrying 2 people...it's scary.

exactly why i haven't been using it in rush hour traffic yet. i haven't been able to make the adjsutment with shifting too easily yet. it seems ot take longer to get it in gear. in reality i know it's just i'm not compensating with extra gas because of the ac like i should be doing!

I voted "seasonally" in the poll. But in East Tenn, that means the A/C is on most of the time.

I can feel a big difference too when the A/C is on.
