Did you buy new or used? If used there are aftermarket "add-on" modules that do allow for autolocking the doors...so maybe one was added by a previous owner... :dunno: Accord4Life 05-30-2006, 10:50 AM Where are you located. Different Contries have different setups... stevencrosbie 05-30-2006, 10:57 AM Never seen that in the states. My TL locks when I go over 10 MPH.... Oh, hi Mike, its been a while. How's it going? Data7 05-30-2006, 02:28 PM I am in the uk. and I dont want it to lock. SSMV6 05-31-2006, 08:44 AM Leave the door open for 10 seconds while you turn the key. I don't think this is a factory option. It sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm/ keyless entry installed. If you can figure out what brand/ model you may be able to disable this feature. Data7 06-08-2006, 12:23 PM I am about to swop the whole locking mechanism and central locking from another accord identical to mine and I need to know were to look to remove the right bits so the keys will start my car. any help would be very apreciated at this moment. the car is a 1997 Honda Accord 2.0i S automatic. the donor car is the same. were is the imobalser unit hidden and any other relevent items I need to remove. thanks in advance. :notworthy |
