When to do the Valve Adjustment??

Hello guys
I have 2001 4cyl Accord which has 57800 killometers on it and i dont know if the valve adjustment should be done.
is there any way to figure out if i have to do this or not??

My 01 owners manual gives no mileage number at which to do this, but says adjust when they become noisy. Mine became a little noisy after 50K miles during a cold spell so I had it done then (~$85@dealer). I've heard of others going much longer before doing this.

Since most of the reason Honda went long on their valve adjustments was to keep ownership costs down, not any engine changes.... we still do ours at the old recommendation: 15K (miles) The year it started had the EXACT same engine as the year before.
