Whats poppin everyone
New here, thought Id join and get some advice on my car; it's pretty close to being done with body kit at this point. Car is currently in shop awaiting an engine swap. I still need to make a decision on the new engine. Advice on that would be nice, as well. Keep in mind, that none of these pics are actually of my car. The pictures below are of the individual pieces of the body kit i had installed. But, the picture of the back bumper/spoiler, is pretty much excactly how my car looks. I had the exterior painted black, to match my custom black leather seats. I also purchased the same spoiler pictured with the back bumper. **also*, my front bumper has a mesh grille insert that covers the intakes of the front bumper.. Ill have pics of my car up asap, but I cant get pictures while the car is in the shop. Tell me what you think. Thanks

oh I forgot, I spent $200 on the tailights... I was told I could of probably done that myself, but I purchased the aftermarket lights you see pictured with the back bumper.....

Tell me what you think of those as well

Rear tails are nice...

Engine swap what engine you looking for? Your best bet is an H22, cheap reliable and plentiful, plus many others have done it so you'll get a lot of help. K20/K24 is more rare...

Maybe not so much that we don't like it, I'm just not sure alot of people here are exactly into the tuner crowd. I wouldn't let us make you feel differently about the car than before, you should do whatever you want to do. If you want my honest opinon. I wouldn't like that look on my car, but then again, I'm 40 two kids, and I guess Im too 'old' to be into that stuff. Plus it takes away from what I think is a really beautiful car. We always wanted a mint 93' SE Sedan. Maybe try googling some stuff to see what pops up. Your always welcome here though! Some members here can be very helpful with problems :D.

Yeah i kinda got the feeling that this really isnt the a niche for me.. Most everybody here has nice, newer accords. Where are you located, karen? I have a white 1993 Accord SE in perfect condition, in and out. I dont really have a use for it, and would be willing to sell it for a very reasonable price....

Just for reference, right now, I have:

My baby- 1993 Honda Accord SE, with 35,654 original miles
A white 1993 Honda Accord SE, with 112k orig miles *For Sale* *perfect*
Black 1992 Honda Accord EX, *For Sale*
Red 1991 Hond Accord LX (willing to sell, or part out, runs fine)

Haha, and hey Karen, you can never be too old to be into this stuff. Im in my 30's, with two kids, third on the way. :) Your car is very nice.

Talk to me if you are interested in the SE that I have for sale, I'd be willing to ship it for free, most likely.
Get at me

well, i have seen lots of wings on cars, that make the whole car look real bad.....

there is a site that was posted recently on here (last week), about how some people riced up BMW's.... they were too funny.....

if it is a spoiler that actually has useage to it, more power to ya.... if not, i honestly feel that it detracts from the car, to be honest......

have fun....

Uhm...yeah I'd like to see some pics of that Skyline, STi and one of your Accords in the same picture

ı±
06-06-2006, 01:17 PM
seems bogus.

why dont you just work on that "96 Skyline R33" lol, or perhaps the "wife's STI" -- no way she's gonna go off about mods if she drives an STI.

seriously, body mods on a 93 Accord..what are you trying to acheive? the car isnt worth the time/work you're putting into it from a financial standpoint. Hell, it doesnt even run. If i were you, i'd scrap it -- its 13 years old and doesnt work.

Well, personally, its a memory thing. I dont drive accords because they're fast- I drive them because my mother owned an accord, and my mom means a lot to me. I dont know if youre of the age that, "I dont like my parents, they think they know it all, but they dont!" stage in life, but I am a 34 year old man, and I love my mother. I was only fortunate enough to know her for 12 years, before she passed. I dont remember her too well, so I like doing things in my everyday life that help remind me how wonderful of a woman my mother was- because without my mom, I would of gone no where in life.

And yes, I do have an R33. My brother was stationed at a US embassy in europe at the time, and shipped the Skyline back to the US for him to enjoy. He since bought a Supra, and sold me the Skyline. But, my brother doesnt enjoy any of his cars, seeing as he is fighting for our country overseas; which is much more than sitting at home, bagging on people just because they have a nicer ride than you. Yeah, I dont care about what you think, youre probably a lot younger than me, and a lot more stupid.
But, heres the hint to my story- get off your ass, and go to school. Get an education, and maybe you too can have a nice car.
But next time you try to bust out an 'LOL' in an attempt to be funny and make assumptions that the person is a liar, get your damn mind right before you say anything.

People like you dont appreciate the fact that something like a custom Honda Accord is a work of art. I dont quite give a damn if my accord(s) cant 'move'. Its the satisfaction that I get when I look at a finished project, and know that I did everything by hand. I dont bring my cars to shops 99% of the time. I do it myself. I even hand paint the cars. Its a work of art; not some 'bogus' piece of garbage. I love my work.

You dont know me, kid.

Heres the only picture I have of the two cars in the same picture. This was taken at the dealer, day before we purchased the Subaru. My wife is gone for the rest of the week, and took the camera with her.... But, when she gets back, Ill show you what ever you want....

Oh and, just because you cant see the Subaru in the 2nd picture, doesnt mean shit. Look at the parking lines on the pavement . Theyre at the same angle in both pics. I know it's odd to be taking pictures of the door panel, but I am considering selling the Skyline. The dealer from whom we bought the Subaru is willing to sell the Skyline on consignment for us. Hence the odd pictures...

Like I said, when my wife returns, Ill be sure and show you whatever you please.

It's funny, nobody really cares about the 4Runner... Ironicaly its probably my favorite of them all. I cant afford gas in the Nissan, and I like the feel of driving the 4Runner.

But sure thing, ill get those pics up as soon as possible

i am looking at the parking lines, and the skyline isnt in the same position in both pictures. i dont see a blue reflection in the second picture when i can clearly see a blue reflection on the fender of the first picture. and in the second picture i see a reflection of what appears to be a JDM odyssey. what kind of dealer is this? JDM importer?

BenjiBoy650
06-06-2006, 04:58 PM
I callhttp://gen7accord.net/forums/images/smiles/bsflag.gif

I went to that website on the Skyline's front plate. EVERY car has a picture of the door panel. You also said it was taken at the dealer the day before you bought the Subaru. In another post, you said you guys just TODAY bought that 'new' Subaru. But that van in the background of the entire car pic is not a USDM model. A closer look at the other pictures on the website makes it clear that that dealer is in JAPAN based on the architecture of the buildings, the language of the signs, and the trucks on the road. By the way, the second to the last line at the bottom (with the 6-9-9 at the end, above the email) is an address, a Japanese one. Hell of a drive to NC, ya think?

So it winds down to...1) Today you bought the Subaru 2) that means yesterday you bought the Skyline 3) this dealer is in Japan 4) you drove from Japan to NC :dunno:

I'm not saying the pics are fake, they're probably not. But they're pics that could have easily been lifted off the internet and passed off (wouldn't be the first time I've seen someone do it either).

By the way, what camera did you use?

stiller fan
06-06-2006, 05:05 PM
well, i was a bit skeptical at first myself.... i did notice a discrepancy myself in the two photos that i will not mention......

HOWEVER..................

if, when his wife gets back next week, does not have pics of the car, then we will know for sure..... do not judge yet UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE, 100%, WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!

give it time..... if he can show us more pics of the car next week, then there will be no BS flags flying here.....

be patient.....

I can always say sorry. If I didn't doubt anything I'd get myself into a lot more hot water, because the things that people will tell you these days and pretend like they know what they're talking about...

To his credit...I did find a sister site to www.gb2.jp that says they are a Japanese car importer to "overseas clients": http://www.grahamberry2.co.jp/ Story still doesn't meet up in the middle, and there are some other holes that I haven't brought up yet, but we'll see how this turns out.

Remember I called BS on Mike once? I still haven't seen evidence of that 6-speed sedan but hey it's all good, we're still friends

haha, wow. a lot of you guys are assholes. Whatever your name is, the guy who was on CNN... even IF, you had that high of an education... its a damn shame that you use it the way that you do. Some one who is apparently as smart as you is usually a lot less ignorant.

Why would I mod a car that is already faster than what I need? I dont care to mess with a car that I hardly care about. Come on. I would put 26's on my 4Runner before doing anything to the skyline. Think about. You live in a town of fewer than 30 people. The next CLOSEST town is over 40 mins away. Who in the world would I show off a moded nissan skyline off to? Atleast I can drive the accord, look classy, and still get 25 miles to the gallon.

I could hardly care less, to argue with people on here who are 10 years younger than me. I dont care what you people think about me; i know what i drive, and what sits in my drive way every night- and you dont.

I dont care about proving a point to you kids, and making myself just in your eyes. But, ill still show you just because you guys are such assholes (for the most part). Thank you to Stiller for atleast not placing total doubt.

And to the person who tried to twist my words when i said 'new' subaru... note how i put the word new in ' and not " ... The cars from 98, its not new.

If you paid any attention at all, you saw that I, like you, used ' and not ". Ignorant? Catching you in a lie is hardly "ignorant"

Look classy in a pimped out Accord...right. Instead of looking classy in a car that nobody has ever seen before, at least not in your town? Hmmm let me think about that for a moment....no.

Really you're one hell of a guy. I'd like you to teach me how exactly it is that you're satisfied with your Skyline having "enough" power. Never enough...anybody who buys Skyline GT-R's and Impreza STi's should be a firm believer in that philosophy. You don't buy them to show off eh? You could buy a Corvette, a Z06, a 911, a TON of cars actually legal in the United States, that are just as fast. But you (apparently) bought a Skyline and an STi. Not to show off? I highly doubt that lol

You still have not answered the camera question, probably because you did not take the pictures. It's pretty simple for anyone with generic knowledge of how pictures and their tags work to see that EXIF says your pictures were taken more than 6 months apart...11/6/05 and 6/3/05...car was in the same position was it? :thumbsdow
