What's the most abusive thing you've done to your Honda??
When we had the '82 sedan as our main car the poor thing was a work horse. We needed to buy wood to build a new fence in the backyard. We put on a tempory rack (roof) & hauled a BUNCH of lumber home. Luckily we only had to drive about a mile. She was so loaded down though! I can't remember why we didn't use the ol' Chevy truck. Probably went to & the starter had gone out. That used to happen sometimes. Or maybe the camper was on it. I didn't allow messy stuff in the "home away from home" very often.
That was a good car! We bought it broken for 650$. She was only a couple of years old at the time & was valued at 4500$. The former owner had neglected to have the timing belt done & at 130K it broke. So we bought it with broken valves. Rebuilt it one weekend, then put about 150K more on it before she was passed down for the "trainer" car as the kids started driving. The youngest traded it in on a new '98 Civic at 385K. They gave her 1K towards her new one!
I don't know which was more abusive.... using her as a "work horse" or letting her be the training car!! That last 100K was HARD miles!!
