Hi, it may be a stupid question but the owner's manual has no answers to it. My seat has a lumbar support adjustment, but seems it is in it's full range set and I want to reduce this to be comfortable, how to? any clue? The manual only shows how to increase it. :dunno: Thanks. Julian.

It only has 3 or 4 settings. Once you go up past the last setting then it automatically starts back at the first setting. You'r using the crank on the right side of the drivers seat correct? It's a simple mechanisim, so I doubt anything is wrong with it. Alot of people complain about the 98-02 seats, I for one like them. I don't like the leather/fabric they used before 01' though. Good Luck.

Thanks P4L, yes I am using the side lever, I didn't know it was a cycling mechanism, so I didn't want to force it further b/c I was afraid to break it, since the lever is plastic. I will give it a try this afternoon when driving back from work, hope I can make it.
BTW I like those seats very much, business class quality and lovely ivory leather  , thanks again

Hmm..interesting. On the 7th gen EX-Ls the lumbar support is manual, whereas the rest of the seat is powered.

Good Job Honey! Great Instructions, Someone has been reading their Owner's Manuals! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

FYI to whoever it was that mentioned it before. There's not one Honda with a Power Lumbar. All are 3 or 4 stage 'cycling' supports. Essentially, the lumbar is a plastic piece in the seat that pushes outward. Yea, some technology... :lmao:
