while that other dealer is dragging his feet, i got to talking to this other dealer. seems like a decent guy. anyway...
he gave me a quote on LX auto at 17,800 including destination charge and documentation fee. they don't drop the latter. yeah, ok, whatever.

my question here is where does the documentation fee fall with respect to tax? (rather, where should it fall?)

is it 1).price of the car, then 2).tax the price, then 3).add the doc fee

or does the -entire- price gets taxed?

(also, i've heard that dest.charge -is- taxed as part of the price. is this info accurate as well?)

thanks :)
