I would like to increase my engines performance. I have added a cai, and nothing else. What would be your recomendations on what to add and in what order. I have the 4cyl. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

The CAI isn't enough? I've heard that it adds something like 11WHP. Well if you want every little bit try the CAI V2, an exhaust, underdrive pulleys (may not be out yet). Other than that I can't think of much unless you want to get serious with a turbo or NOS.

The CAI is nice, it adds a real nice sound up top, but the increase in hp.....well I want more. I have thought about replacing the exhaust, the air intake manifold, and installing an apexi computer for fuel management. my problem is that my eyes are bigger then my wallet, and so I need to know what order to buy this stuff in to get the biggest bang for my buck so to say.

I haven't seen many intake manifolds for Honda unless you're talking about a supercharger. Even for my '99 4 cyl I've only ever seen one from Venom and that was $500+, which I don't think is worth it. I don't think a standalone fuel management system would work wonders for you, mostly those are for people running turbos and/or upgraded injectors. Exhaust might add a good amount of HP but I'm not sure if the headers are cast into the engine block or what, I know they are with the V6. Those are probably your best bet for now.

Where did you find the DC CAI? I want to do the same mod to my car. I have an '03 LX Accord auto transmission. Were there any restrictions with the part you installed on your car or was it a simple drop in? Also, after researching online, I've come across the K&N hyperfilter charger and it said it will increase horsepower by 15 or 16% which amounts to a 24 hp boost in power. Is this true or just hype? Can an aftermarket filter replacement actually ad this much increase in power or is it too good to be true?

the dc cai is not available anymore. When DC Sports was bought out by AEM they stoped making it. My car is a MT and I read in another thread that it is harder to get a CAI for an automatic. As far as install it was a semi simple drop in, they recomended taking the bumper off the car, I didnt do that and so it was a little tougher but i didnt have to worry about breaking all the pins in my bumper. the DC sport cai said it dynoed at an additional 7 or 8 HP, I forget now. I dont see that you would get 24hp from a filter. DC Sports said you would get 24 hp from the CAI the cat back exhaust, and the headers combined.
