I tried to install a guage face for my 98 accord but realized that i couldnt because it involved wiring and all those things so i decided to put all the pieces back together and when i started my car, the fuel/gas needle dropped slowly towards E and then passed it, i have a full tank of gas so that is not possible and i drove around to see if it will go back up, and it did not. I dont know if maybe i broke something in there. :dunno:

maybe you just blew a fuse....check your fuse panel and replace the fuse that corrasponds with that gauge (or possibly all of them). If you dont have a spare then look up a non essential one and swap them to see if it makes any difference (just make sure its the correct amperage so nothing gets screwed up).
