Hello I own a 2006 Honda Accord with navigation I have seen people geting rid off nagging screen on their navi system does anybody knows how to do it thanx.

From what I can tell there is no software way. There is supposedly a hardware fix that pushs the enter button after power up.

Since my EXL V6 Nav just turned one month old this weekend, I am not willing to do something that leaves traces!

For the '03 you can add a picture of your choice by some sort of flashing....but the "nag" screen is still there. It shows your picture on start up, then goes to the conventional screen that says "OK".

If there's a way, we've not heard of it.

It's only there for about 10 seconds, so it's no big deal.

This is what I have found for the hardware way. I am a public safety radio tech and I am used to tearing apart cars but I do not want to tear apart the nav display and do something that leaves traces that would lead to finger pointing in a warranty situtation.

Someone posted it up here a week or two ago how to do it for the '06's too (change picture) I just did it to mine yesterday. The picture I chose didn't come out very clear on the NAVI, but I am happy with it. I think I will change it again soon. I just did a test run for now.
