Has anybody figured out how to play a DVD movie using the Honda Nav System or is it even possible?

We've done it with the Pilot, not the Accord. There's some tricky wiring that has to be done. When watching a movie they don't know where they are for a bit. The Pilot is set up with a tiny, near invisible toggle that you can change to from DVD to Nav. when you go to Nav it has to find it's self.

Don't ask me HOW he did it. I just know he bought & collected pieces, then spent a day doing it. That's a long job for him! Concidering I've seen him rebuild a whole engine in 6 hours! (older one)

Anyway technically it CAN be done. He doesn't use the DVD in it, it's only for data. He added plug ins for the portable player. Unless you're VERY comfy playing with wires, I won't advise trying.

There may be adaptable instructions on the Pilot forum. (honda_pilot.org) I think. If you do go on it I'll warn you they are snots over there!!

There is a "kit" that is supposed to do this for about 500-600 dollars.
