Try: http://www.protectyourpaint.com

I haven't tried it, but saw a display at a car show. Looks like a version of the old clear Contact paper, but thicker and clearer. Wonder if it really remains 100% clear (or as the site says 99.5%) or if it discolors or edges begin to peel off from the weather elements and/or road salt?

Not a sweat I1. Thanks for your stories and details over on the lease v. buy thread. I got a good couple of laughs and information to share.

I put mine on last summer and am quite satisfied with it. I used 3M's 8 mil kit from Invinca Shield (extended hood and fender leading edge). One key installation tip: having a partner to continuously spray the soap solution (provided) or else the film will set and stick to the hood much faster than you have time to position the material. It seems to do a good job protecting the hood comparing with my dark green Integra taking a beating with the hood being low and aerodynamic.

Great...

I was just curious as to how difficult it would be for someone who has never done anything like it before?

Do I need any special tools?

Also, a local place is trying to talk me into some new material they are selling called Lumner by sager products....can't find anything on web about it.

Thanks alot,
Phil K.

i don't like the fact the if u want to remove it, you have to go to certified dealer so the original paint isn't affected....where would u find one if you want to remove it later....

Hey,
If possible could you post a picture of the installed film? :notworthy

I would greatly appreciate it.

Thx,
Phil K.
