Please help! Wifey has a 1999 Accord LX Sedan. 93,000 miles (all local). Recently we have been getting a no start condition mainly in the AM, sometimes PM too. When the car does start, it runs perfect. Tried changing the distributor, ignition switch, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, computer, with no luck. Still every couple of days, random no start. The car is at Honda now, and they are even stumped.

Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Hmm...there is a similar thread here from a few days ago. Have you actually tried with multiple keys or only just the same one? I know in the other person's case it was likely a worn key that wasn't making proper contact to allow the immobilizer chip to function properly.

Its a long-shot I know....but was just wondering...

Once again......Princess to the rescue. Interesting how having a piece of metal near the key could cause problems.
