Just traded in my Silver 03 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6 for the 4 DR Gray EXL... Got tired of only havin' 2 doors!!!

nice... dealer even tinted it for ya, huh? :) Get 17" wheels, accord 06 looks so much better on 17" :)

Yeah it's dealer tinted, came with a bunch of options, splash guards, door trim, fenderwell trim, only thing I wasn't lovin' is the pinstripe - but I am not about to take it off since it was like $350! Much rather would have had fog lights instead...!!!

Nice car, HondaChick!! I would get that color but since my parents' '05 Odyssey is about the same color (Sage Brush), I got Carbon Bronze instead. :D I don't want to go home for a weekend and see two cars that has similar colors...

Mean looking car huh. :) I like the wheels, and the car needs no tonsing up. Its nice as-is. Fogs might be usefull though dependant on where you live...Just dont ask me to clean all the bugs off those front grills when you been out in the country on a summers evening.. dohhh. *runs a mile* :paranoid: :) lol...

Thanks 4 the compliments! Was thinking about the fogs - Anyone know if they could be installed if I have the outside temp gauge already?? I really don't need them since it is NEVER foggy in Vegas, but I like how they look...Also, it is automatic, I'd only get manual if it was a V6! :naughty:

LOL don't test drive a 5spd 4cyl then. I thought I wanted out of a manual when I test drove the auto accord, then I found a used 4cyl EXL 5spd and didn't think twice about getting another manual.

And especially don't try one with a short shift kit or you'll really be pissed. :D

LOL!!! I'd get a 5-speed too but since I'm in traffic all the time, my left leg would give out very quickly. lol.

In regards to the fogs, from what I've read from your sig, you can install the fogs without problems since the outside temp sensor is installed at the factory. I have an EX-L too and the fogs installed without problems at all.

Where is the outside temp sensor located? it would be usefull for Hondachic to know... They are housed in the passenger door mirrors on Peugeots..

You will probably find the wiring is already installed for foglights, I doubt they make a seperate wiring loom for cars with/without fogs, it would be too expensive.. :)

I like the look of foglights too.. But plzzzzzz don't get any of those huge chrome 'cartwheel' type ally wheels with skinny tyres!! I think they look awfull.. :paranoid: :thumbsdow :thumbsdow

Probably not. As indicated in the installation instructions for the fog lights, they are an accessory, and come with the wiring for the fogs as well, so most likely there will be no pre-existing wiring unless a previuos owner had them installed and then decided to remove them but left the wiring. But since she traded in her 03 for an 06, most likely there was no previous owner

If you have an LX you need to choose between the external thermometer or the fog lights. If you have an EX, you can add the fog lights. There is a difference in the wiring harness between the EX and LX - as the thermometer in the EX is integrated into the harness and the dangling plug is still there for fog installation....

You would be surprised how many types of dumb harnesses they use for each different model. The Odysseys use a different harness for Touring and non-Touring, Navi and non-Navi.
