After commuting 160 miles a day, my ride is still in great shape. Looking forward to another 100K!

Our 'totaled' 03' EX-L 5MT Sedan had 75k on it around december (I think..?), and I'm sure it would've had at least 100k by now. Glad to hear your car has held up so well! I'm sure your next 100k will be happy miles :). Karen. cdubb77 07-13-2006, 08:54 PM Wow. Looks good for a car with that much mileage. stiller fan 07-14-2006, 02:22 AM cdubb: that much mileage? the car is just getting broken in now.... :D kewlphil 07-17-2006, 07:17 PM thats a nice body kit, what is it called? I won't be surprised to see 200k miles on ur car in no time. stiller fan 08-01-2006, 10:51 AM hard driving? nah... honda love to rev, and cruise too.... one look at my car, and you'll see why..... :) ItsaHonda 08-01-2006, 11:16 AM Quick searches on Ebay have yielded several 7th gens w/ 100k+ miles. All appeared to still be in like-new condition. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b5/ItsaHonda/139000MileAccord03.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b5/ItsaHonda/AccordOdometer.jpg 2003 I4 Accords w/ AT. iccord 08-01-2006, 11:24 AM what i want to know is how many of those 100K + miles accords 2.4L AT have original tranny. stiller fan 08-01-2006, 11:25 AM i think that as long as the recall was done for oil jet install, they should be ok.... i could be wrong tho..... :dunno: ItsaHonda 08-01-2006, 11:31 AM i think that as long as the recall was done for oil jet install, they should be ok>>> The I4 ATs haven't had any issues since the beginning of the 7th gen. The V6 ATs had the recall (regarding the oil jet installation) in 2003, but have had no (wide-spread) problems since. BenjiBoy650 08-01-2006, 01:22 PM The I4 ATs haven't had any issues since the beginning of the 7th gen. The V6 ATs had the recall (regarding the oil jet installation) in 2003, but have had no (wide-spread) problems since. That's only because they haven't hit 200-300K yet, which I believe is how long a tranny should last at a minimum. |
