Does anyone have the OEM Splash Guards on the car? If so can you post some pics of what they look like. Are they painted or textured rubber/black ? Here is what im talking about...

http://parts.sonshonda.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=286660&ukey_make=988&ukey_model=13652&modelYear=2011&ukey_category=17021&ukey_driveLine=6313&ukey_TrimLevel=15725&ukey_modelRange=0&searchString=

Im thinking about getting them but not sure what they look like...

I had them (pix in sig link below). They fit nice but they don't look like anything special. Smooth, nondescript black ABS plastic.

they are not painted...just black!

you can have them painted as others have opted or you can buy acura tsx ones that match closely that come painted ( however there are only a few colors that both the tsx and accord share). I have tsx PMM ones. They fit close enough HOWEVER if i were to do this again i would have gotten the ones for the accord and had them painted.

I'm painting mine. My fronts are already done, and the rears will be done as soon as my new can of Tafetta White comes in from Duplicolor. My old can had a weird effect where the paint would split after I sprayed, so not using that can anymore. Like they said, normally they're just an ABS plastic, which is malleable and durable.

Anyone have pics with splash guards from afar? Where you can see the whole car? I just got an '12 Silver Coupe, and considering getting them.

Do the splash guards not fit on the car anymore with the HFP underbody lip installed? I have the splash guards on my car but in the future I'm looking to buy the HFP full lip kit (front, back, sides) and would like to keep my splash guards on as well for the protection?!

Actually you can keep them with some very minor cutting of the splash guard. I've thought about getting the under-body side spoilers, and would cut mine to keep them, since I use them. The side of my car would look terrible without them.

That's what I was thinking.. In the area I live with the harsh storms and winters we get every year.. My white coupe would not be shiny and white anymore pretty soon! Splash guards are a big must around here!

I used the Duplicolor, but after many many months it cracked and looked terrible after I replaced them with the HFP side and rear.
