I own a 05 Accord LX. On the driver's side door the rubber seal that goes around the door has a hole in it ( I guess from the seat belt hitting it), my Honda emblem on the grille has fallen off and there are numerous paint nicks/chips on the car. Does it pay to make an appointment with the dealer ? I would think they're not going to cover the paint. Will these be covered under warranty?

The seal and the chips, no. The emblem, maybe. Go to your dealer and ask them to replace the emblem. If they give you grief, ask how the emblem is different from the bumper or hood. Body parts, even small ones shouldn't fall off.

You MIGHT get them to replace the door seal..... :dunno: not the paint.

Those door seals are so pricey to replace. I can't imagine they aren't in the factory warranty, though. Go for it.

My '96 had the same issue, and it got to be a pretty big hole. My '04 has a small one starting, but I put electrical tape over it to reinforce and protect it.
