hey guys i have a 2003 exl 4 cyl and every once in a while i get a transmission jerk, i went on the nhtsa website and it shows a recall on the 2003 accords for transmission, it doesnt specify if its for the 4 cyl or v6 or both, does anyone have any info on this, and also, how do i change out the tranny fluid (or is it already too late). also what are my chances of honda actually replacing the transmission out of warranty, i had warranty till 75k and now have 90k on it

Howdy!
The recall was for the V6 accords and, at your mileage, your tranny fluid should have been changed a few times already ...

the recall was for the V6. As for weather Honda would replace the tranny out of warranty, that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. You have to bring the car in to get it inspected by Honda first before you can call up Honda's regional office for a goodwill consideration.
