I just purchased a 03 Accord Coupe that had 38000 miles on it and it now has 41000. I believe it is telling me to change the oil. So, I put MB1 with a K&N Oil filter. This should be good for at least 5k. With the oil changed the MM is still flashing. Sould I reset the MM? If so, how would I go about doing this? Or will it recognize the oil has been changed and stop flashing? Thnks for being here for all my silly questions. CBass.

I believe the procedure is in the owner's manual. Download one if you don't have one!

Oil life indicator is just like a trip meter, so you reset it the same way you reset a trip meter :)

You don't have a maintenance minder. You just have a little light that blinks according to mileage. It serves no purpose...I think I pulled mine out last time I had the cluster out.

CBass170, hold the trip reset knob for about 10 seconds while you turn the ignition to "II" (run position... no need to start the car) to reset the Maintenance Required Light.
