Anyone ever have this problem? It sounds like it is coming right where the airbag is and I reproduce it if I bang on the right spot. Anyone ever taken that area apart? I was able to get it half open, but I think I should get some advice before I proceed.

If you do decide to take it apart...just remove the negative cable from the battery and wait five minutes before you go. LEts the airbag system deactivate fully...

You didn't state your year..... :dunno: There have been bulletins on some of the 7th gen.... look in the factory direct area on here. Even if it's not your year, that doesn't mean it can't apply.

Opps.. I have an 06 coupe.. I'm thinking it could have been the Tint shop that caused it, but I really don't remember when it started. I don't trust the dealer so I am just gonna try to fix it myself.
