View Full Version : Highbeams uneven?

Today I was checking out my lights, and noticed that passenger side high-beam is aimed quite a bit higher than the driver side one. Did anyone else noticed the same thing? My low-beams are at the same level, but high beams are noticeably not... I wonder if it's by design or is it a problem I need to address at the dealership....

It could be by design though I haven't noticed it in my car. Aim it at your garage at night and shoot a few pics

the high beams should be at the same height... your low beams, on the other hand, should be a bit uneven, as to not blind on-coming traffic....

i guess someone who did your headlights is dyslexic??? :lmao:

low beams have steps to avoid blinding oncoming traffic but overall they are even relative to each other. High beams are not. I don't get it

I think it's by design, because at close range high beams are even but further away passenger side is becoming higher and higher... or I got a really, really screwed up Accord :D

Check out this from Daniel Stern (http://www.danielsternlighting.com/images/Aim.pdf) for proper aiming instructions.

Inspector, I saw that page. The problem is that I can't aim high beam independent of the low beam, they are molded together... If I did an HID retro I could but with the oem headlights, it's impossible :(
