If you are interested in learning what others have paid for their Hondas and other new cars, you might check a site I’m working on called wikiworth.com (happily Wardsweb didn’t seem to mind a post.) Unlike car shopping sites, it shows you the prices that new cars have actually sold for, by letting drivers anonymously share what they paid for their vehicles, as well as any dealer quotes they have received. It’s designed to help answer the ‘What’s a good price for this car?’ question, and to help people negotiate better. Sort of along the lines of wikipedia, but for new car prices. It’s not a forum – for discussion and further info the site links to Drive Accord.
The site is all free and anonymous, and the info is searchable by make and model. It also allows drivers to rate the deals in the database on a scale of 1-10, so users can understand what are good prices on specific models. The site is still new and in beta, so there isn’t a lot of data in it yet - but there are a number of Hondas (Civics mostly), and if you're interested, you can anonymously add your own vehicle or dealer quotes.
Thanks
