View Full Version : looking for quality tint in FL (Tampa/Orlando)

Hey all,
Can anyone recommend a place to get a quality tint job in Florida? I would be willing to drive anywhere in the Orlando-Daytona region, or anywhere in the Sarasota-Tampa region.

I want a shop that:

a) will *guarantee* not to interfere with my navigation.

b) will about do something around 18-25% visibility. My old Accord had 18% and I loved it.

c) give a written warranty of at least a year, if not more.

"a" is probably the highest priority, for obvious reasons. I'd settle for lighter tint if it means I don't end up driving in the middle of the bay! :lmao:

Sounds like you want to go with a ceramic tint.

I would go with pinnacle tint from formula one. You can go to this site and click on "locate a dealer" to find a local installer that uses this ceramic tint ...

I'm probably going to call the Formula one dealers in Bradenton for a quote this week, but I'm still open to whatever. I probably won't have the extra cash to drop on tint for another 2-3 weeks. Gotta pay the rent.

Just had mine done last week. I used Sun Out on Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota. This is the fourth car he has done for me. The guy uses quality tint, I think 3m and always does a great job. Never any bubbles, scratches or fading. I paid $150 for all 5 windows. Takes him about an hour. I did the front sides in 30% and the three rears in 15%. Looks nice and stays cool.
