Do Honda oil filters fit in any other Honda? The filter they sell now for my Accord is much smaller and I think that's not something I want, so I was thinking of ordering the S2000 filter instead, which is equivalent to the HAMP filters. Will it fit?

Yes it looks like it will......

I use their filters......
Their quality is just as good if not better......

Size really doesn't matter.......

Ehhh I still like OEM. I hope they put a real kick ass filter on the S2000!

If Wix uses the same filter # then the gasket base, thread pitch, bypass valve pressure and all other aspects have to be the same.. so the Honda S2000 oil filter will fit Accord....

Yup I got that part, but I was just thinking about the capability of the filter to...filter. I don't know whether to go with the Accord or S2000 (Honda) filter because the Accord one is probably newer, so I don't see why it would be a downgrade. I just don't think it's a good idea to be putting a smaller filter on such a large 4 banger.

The new oil filter actually looks pretty good, there was a comparison posted somewhere in here. I just wanna see how the S2K filter looks cut open :)

I used OEM filters at first, but then switched to Mobil One. I think the Mobil One filters are a little better than OEM. I have a magnetic oild drain plug and I noticed less stuff sticking to it after I switched.

Just an FYI. I changed the oil in my 4-cyl '04 Accord this weekend and used a HAMP oil filter. The HAMP filter fits like a glove and was the same size as the stock blue Honda oil filter.

I actually decided not to go with the HAMP filter because I talked with a Honda tech that did not recommend it. He said the S2000 ran a higher oil pressure and since the HAMP and S2000 filters are the same, I decided it wouldn't be the best idea and he agreed.
