Please help with my Honda accord 2003 LX 4dr sedan.
Front accessory socket stopped working, I guess the problem is a blown fuse.
I read the instructions and looked into the fuse boxes, but there seems to be only one fuse for two sockets (15A) and it is Ok. Is there another fuse just for the cigarette lighter socket or is that 15A fuse for both sockets?
The socket under the armrest compartment works fine.
Thanks!

If I were you, I would tear into the center console and look for a loose or disconnected wire. That's the only thing I can think of.

From my understanding, the front and "in the compartment" socket use the same fuse. I could be wrong, but I remember someone telling me that when I kept getting blown fuses. Also, if I remember right, mine was 20A, but it's been awhile...

I would test that fuse you say "looks" OK....they can still be bad without looking "blown"...test it for continuity if you have a DMM

Thanks for you answers, guys,
The fuse is absolutely fine, I tested it.
I guess I will have to disassemble the center console. I already did that 2 years ago when I installed the AUX Audio adapter to play mp3's from iPod. Maybe I broke some wiring at that time, but the socket sure worked fine after the installation.

You probably stressed a wire to the point where it broke but had like 1 strand left. This can happen right at the plug that plugs in to the socket.

I'd definitely check for broken wires, or maybe a loose connection.

It was a stressed wire, obviously.
Thanks to all concerned!
