V6P set up a meet for March 27 at Walnut Creek, with current official enrollment at about 65. TooHypper is going too (enrollee #38). What about any of you? I'm still not sure because I'll be away Friday, not sure if I can make it back on time. See here for details

Sorry! We booked up stuff because we knew it would be the last weekend without family around for a while. We'll be having our 3 grandkids from Fresno for the first week, then after Easter we'll be heading to NV to deliver a computer to my mom & setting it up, then the other 3 grandkids, then my birthday, then a weekend off, then a weekend at Disneyland.......
Where in Walnut Creek are they having it??

Yeah, sure, I'd be the one with a ticket! The surest way to get caught racing is to be with a crowd! Remember mine's all stock! I'm sure there's kids out there without a mortgage that can spend their hard earned money on all the gadgets to beef up their cars.
I'll just stick to the individuals that challenge me on the road. If traffic permits, I take them up on it. If not, well, we'll never know who's got more lead in their foot & most horsies under the hood.
I must say that's one thing I do miss about the old muscle car days! Just the looks of a car would get a challenge! The only one that beat me was a '67 Chevelle SS. That one not only had a quicker car, but a quicker driver! If Prince had been the one driving, it would have been closer, even if the Chevelle was faster. He has more driving skills than me. I just have a LEAD foot!:D Especially in the Spring for some reason!

I didn't go. People posted pics though if you wanna see. Didn't really look interesting...they seem to have drifted off into some area that was damp dirt and deep potholes with water in them. Smart group, taking a buncha lowered cars with 17"+ wheels to this kinda area.
