Thanks to MJL's do it yourself , I made the gauges blue, all my interios lights are blue led's as well as the side doors, also blue neons under the navi.

Looks good! Can the needles be changed as well? I wouldn't mind having the red needles from the coupe and 03-05 sedans to add some color to my guage cluster.

Why so blue man? Just kidding, looks good. I prefer the red though.

Ugh...go sit in a Pontiac for any length of time and you'd change your mind.... :lmao:

I do admit though I really like the 2006 coupe's guages over the sedans simply because of the contrast (orange needles and the red ticks between the white mileage markers).

Wait a minute. I can't take all the credit for this DIY. In fact I didn't add much D to the IY, just brought this mod to people's attention that might not have been aware of it.

But regardless, they look good, from what I can make out of the blurriness. You should try balancing your camera or the headrest of your seat with it leaned back so you dont have to touch it and use a timed exposure to allow correct shutter speed and light adjustment. :lmao:

You did forget a blue strip across the mileage gauge tho. :D

You like pink that much that you would want your gauges pink. Cant say that I would like it but at least it would be different that everyone else. Not sure how to make the lights themselves pink, but if you got colored film like we did, you could make it pink.

And I think rainbow would be hilarious

LOL yeah I would say if you had the pink film and time to do...and then undo it after he got back, it would be a great prank.

If you have little to no experience with leds, which Im assuming because you are asking if you can use any leds you have lying around, I would suggest you do not try this.

This mod can be done without using leds. We simply buy colored film on ebay and slide it behind our gauge faces. Try this link. http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6939

It's very hard to use LED's and get them to disperse the light properly. You will end up with hot spots unless you use special wide angle LED's or sand them down.
